It’s almost Spring! Time for a Love & Relationship House Cleaning!
When people go through shifts in their relationships often people clean their closets, garages and call me to work on their hearts as well. I help people with their Love Design action plan as they move on after a shake-up or a breakup. You may have some old family issues or disagreements with people in your life. Is it time for a cleaning of your heart and soul? With the coming of Easter and Passover, many of us are reflecting more and want to clean up old issues .
Just take a deeper look at your life and examine the recent past and choices you have made. Are there any old relationships or friendships left in your closet that need cleaning? Any old resentments, sadness, anger, self-criticism left in the drawers of your mind? When it comes to your friendships and relationships, are they as rich and deep as you would like them to be? Do you hang on to old-worn thoughts that weigh you down? We all need to weed out the old to make room for the new! Letting go of the pain from an old relationship or friends that don’t support you, and memories that hold you back can be challenging.
So many people hold onto the sadness from the past that they leave no room for new growth and this blocks love from coming into their lives. In my private coaching sessions, I find people that hold onto the past for years. One man I met with had been so guarded he just had one casual sexual affair after another because he had promised he would never love again. You must learn to open your heart to love again and take risks! Most people have been wounded at one time or another. Are you going to build a wall so thick you never let love in? Here are some thoughts to reflect upon. Use these to evaluate and consider while you’re setting new resolutions for your life!
REFLECTIONS:
**Time to move on and live life to the fullest! With an open heart, anything is possible.
** Write out a list of people that come to mind, Meet up and express your feelings from the heart.
** Just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to, doesn’t mean they don’t love you.
**The worst thing is to be sitting right beside someone knowing your relationship is not going anywhere. Get real with yourself. Is it time to move on? Get some support since you might be afraid to let go. I can help you write love scripts to help.
** No man or woman is worth your tears. Learn the lessons, grow from each relationship, and forge ahead.
** Don’t waste your time on a man/woman, who isn’t willing to share their time and heart with you.
** Perhaps God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the right person; we will recognize them and know it was divinely appointed to happen.
** Don’t cry because it is over, smile because you have gathered wisdom and experience.
**There’s always going to be people that hurt you in life, so you have to keep on trusting and just become more aware of the “red or green light signals along the way.
** Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you jump into another relationship. Expecting people to just know you without taking time to share your values and goals can lead to unrealistic expectations.
** The way you treat your heart at this time is the way you will be treated by others. Be kind to yourself! I’m here if you need support
